Kasting Kall - InternKats
Have you got the K-factor? As our fabulous InternKats Eleanor and Nick finish up their stint, it's time for another round!
The IPKat team is looking for 2 keen intellectual property enthusiasts to fill the position of InternKats.
Successful applicants will carry out their role for a period of 6 months, and be responsible for tasks including:
If the InternKats wish, they are also invited to write independent posts with a suggested contribution rate of about once a month. Throughout the period the InternKats will receive training as required for the tasks that the role involves, as well as mentoring and guidance from the IPKat team in writing posts.
Anyone may apply for this role, but the Kats think that it will be most suited to graduate students in the field of IP law or economics of IP, trainees (or recently qualified people) in one of the IP-related professions, or IP-enthusiasts in career transitions. We encourage previous applicants to re-apply. Interns can be located anywhere in the world.
We have updated our application system since our last round. Applicants should provide information about their career, motivation and a writing sample via this website.
The deadline for applications is Thursday, 22 September 2016 (midnight, GMT). Successful applicants will begin their internship on 1 October 2016.
So are you ready for the greatest IP auditions ever? Did this author of this post spend an inordinate amount of time researching X-Factor catchphrases? We look forward to your jah-mazing applications.
