Structure Security: Is IoT bane or boon to security pros?

The Internet of things is going to usher in the greatest digital transformation in the last 100 years or be a major security headache.

Let's get real: IoT will be both.

The proliferation of end points to secure are going to stretch security teams thin. Day two of Structure Security (Sept. 28) will largely focus on connected sensors and how the industrial Internet has to align with operations to secure various industries.

Speakers on IoT and security will include Tom Le, Executive Director of Cyber, GE Digital Wurldtech, Bethany Mayer, President and CEO, Ixia, and Scott A. Montgomery, VP and Chief Technical Strategist, Intel Security.

In other areas, Google executives will outline Android's security efforts. There is also likely to be some connective tissue between Android and IoT anyway.
