Google puts RGB-Hex color converter in search results for “RGB to Hex” queries

In continued efforts to keep more eyes on itself, Google is pointing their efforts toward web designers by placing an RGB-Hex color converter at the top of search results for “RGB to Hex” queries.

An RGB-Hex color converter is often used for web design and other graphic design work to determine exact colors values. Spotted this weekend by the Android Police site, Google’s RGB-Hex conversion tool shows up for both desktop and mobile searches.

It appears the tool only shows up for the exact “RGB to Hex” query. Searches for “RGB-Hex color conversion” and other variations like “convert RGB to Hex” – or even “Hex to RGB” – did not return the same result.
