5 Takeaways From ManageWP’s AMA With Tomaž Zaman And Per Esbensen

Last week, Codeable founders Tomaž Zaman and Per Esbensen took over the ManageWP AMA. The dynamic duo met through an enterprise CMS, TYPO3 where Esbensen was running a web development agency specializing in the CMS and 3D animation and Zaman was a TYPO3 integrator. They worked on website projects for a couple of Scandinavian companies for two years until the online freelancer industry declined. That’s when they founded Codeable.
Here are the five takeaways:
Codeable is a conduit for communication.
Codeable’s main function is bringing freelancers and companies together, but they also help freelancers receive fair pay and make sure companies are getting the best product possible. Zaman explained that Codeable helps with communication between freelancers and companies that may be plagued by time zone issues or language barriers.
Codeable also promotes relationships between freelancers so they’re not competing for jobs, but rather helping each other get jobs. Lastly, if there is a problem between a freelancer and a customer, Codeable’s customer support team helps solve it.
There is a bigger demand for developers who know WooCommerce and freelancers help set the price.
