The WS Society Annual IP Conference will take place on 20 April 2017 at the Signet Library. This year's conference, “IP law and policy after Brexit”, will cover among other topics the UK IP system post-Brexit, IP in the Scottish FinTech sector, and case law update. The 2017 International Summer School of Intellectual Property, organized by the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Xiamen University, will take place from 3 to 15 July in China. The program comprises one week of lectures by renowned IP professionals from around the world and another week experiencing Chinese culture. Scholarships are available. The Annual Conference on Trade Marks and Designs is taking place on 28 and 29 September in Alicante.
