A Wonder Woman Costume Starts with Worbla
Reddit Catleesi decided to get ambitious with her recent costume build for Ottawa Comiccon. She turned herself into Wonder Woman; it was her first time trying to make any kind of armor. Her take on the costume is inspired by what Wonder Woman wears in the DCEU films, so it has a darker palette than the comics.
She used Worbla for the base of the armor and covered it with EVA foam cut into a ribbed pattern. Then she went back to Worbla to make the Wonder Woman belt and the iconic eagle emblem. You can see how the EVA foam was layered over the Worbla in the below pictures.
