LEARN: Neopixel Jewel 10 Minute Necklace

Check out this new tutorial at the Adafruit Learning System:  it’s a quick and easy Neopixel Jewel necklace.   This is a really simple project but it’s oh-so pretty and sparkly when it’s done!  It’s also really easy to customize and make your own, by choosing a pendant face that matches your style.

Here’s a link to the full tutorial.  I like this project because it’s really satisfying to be able to sit down and make a complete thing in just one afternoon.  So many projects get a bit out of hand with their complexity, like my Galaxy Pendant, which is indestructible and lovely but takes a lot of skill and time and resources to make.  This necklace is just as pretty but costs less than $25 in materials.  I want to make a dozen of them and give them to all my friends.
