NYC is So #OpenData it has a Bubble Map & Neighborhood Map of Known Dog Names!
We ♥ NYC! It’s culturally vibrant. We’re proudly engineered in it. And it’s dense with data! The inevitable outcome of cramming 8+ million folk into a 303 sq. mile land mass (468 including the water). Not to mention the approximate 600k dogs that call one of the five boroughs home! So doggie data is compiled too, and the city keeps a bubble map and neighborhood map of names. The bubble map expresses all known names, with Bella being the most popular overall (1195 dogs) and the neighborhood map expressing the most popular name by neighborhood (with Rambo and Theodore being surprisingly favored choices).
