We Salute This General Leia Organa Costume

The Force Awakens introduced us to a new title for Leia Organa — General Leia Organa. Starbuck Cosplay put together a costume to match what Leia wore on the Resistance base. She started with a store-bought jumper and modified it to fit properly and to look more screen accurate. She crafted the vest, jewelry, and belt buckle from scratch. The ring, which you can see taking shape in a photo below, was made from Polly Plastics; the belt buckle base was crafted from Worbla. And for the vest, she says:

I basically copied a quilted best I found at the thrift store, lengthened the bottom and then sewed that vest inside the linen vest for the thickness.
