IBM Security Bulletin: Multiple vulnerabilities in OpenSSL affect SAN Volume Controller, Storwize family and FlashSystem V9000 products

Vulnerabilities in the OpenSSL component affect the management GUI of SAN Volume Controller, Storwize family and FlashSystem V9000 products. The CLI interface is unaffected. The CVEs are CVE-2016-2177 CVE-2016-2178 CVE-2016-2183 CVE-2016-6302 CVE-2016-6304 CVE-2016-6306.

All products are affected when running supported releases 7.1 to 7.8. For unsupported versions of the above products, IBM recommends upgrading to a fixed, supported version of the product.
