Infographic for Left vs Right Brain Functionalities

Thanks to Jack Milgram for sending this in.

People often say “left vs. right” when it comes to brain functions (even I did in the blog title!) but it’s clearly more of a ‘left and right in tandem’ than ‘versus’ – after all it’s not like people who code can’t make art or people who dance can’t write. The brain is pair of two cerebral lobes, and even those are made up of multiple sub-lobes, in addition to other areas and parts like the brain stem, cerebellum, and more. Basically: we’re complex! In addition to the infographic (below) the blog post further breaks down the areas and associations with their inner workings – amazing how we’ve even deduced knowing where memory is located, or which side processes music, etc.

Neuroscientists and psychologists all around the world have put great effort into investigating the functions and differences of the left and right brain.

The existence of differences between left brain and right brain have been proven by many studies. Especially valuable are the observations that have been made on brain injuries.

In this article, you will learn everything about the left brain vs. right brain, including their functions and characteristics.
