A Haunting and Beautiful BioShock Infinite Songbird Costume

Imgur user Swiftforge did the improbable, but not the impossible, by making a replica of Songbird from BioShock Infinite. The costume has glowing eyes, sound effects from a Bluetooth speaker, and extendable wings. It stands at a whopping seven feet tall. She recently scored best overall costume at Colossalcon with the massive costume.

The build process unfolded over two years. She began with references and research; she used the game and the collectible statue of Songbird. Then she made stilts from wood and crafted Songbird’s general shape with pieces of furniture foam. Swiftforge reinforced the furniture foam base with EVA foam and PVC plastic.
