Alphabet adds Sundar Pichai of Google as its board member

Sundar Pichai, who has been associated with Google for the past two years, has now been appointed as a board member of Alphabet Inc., parent company of Google. 

Prior to his appointment, he has served Google as its Chief Executive Officer and now has got another role as Alphabet’s board member. His appointment represents a vote of confidence and trust founders place in him. 

“Sundar has been doing a great job as Google’s CEO, driving strong growth, partnerships, and tremendous product innovation,” Larry Page, Chief Executive Officer of Alphabet Inc., said in a statement. “I really enjoy working with him and I’m excited that he is joining the Alphabet board.”Read More
