The circuitry suggested stellar constellations in the night sky

NY-based artist Theo Kamecke is a former filmmaker turned furniture maker and sculptor who equates the traces in printed circuit boards “as simply a newly evolved form of nature” – like the rings of a tree or fossil impression left in rock. Laminate, epoxy, and copper traces are our now-artifacts. He has works that are flat, works that are dimensional, and even functional furniture – here are some samples from his website:
