This Laptop Bag Will Make You Look Bright #WearableWednesday #wearabletech #RaspberryPi #DIY

Laptop bags can get pretty dreary compared to their sticker coated metallic counterparts. That must have been what maker John Witts was thinking when he added Adafruit Dotstar LED strips to the outside of his bag with a Raspberry Pi Zero. Now there is an ever-moving wipe of color on the zigzag of LEDs brightening the darkness. Actually John recently launched a book Wearable Tech Projects with the Raspberry Pi Zero, so this seems like the perfect project. I will add that making a letter “w” out of the strips to stand for wearable could be Laptop Bag 2.o. 🙂 It’s refreshing to see some wearables done with Raspberry Pi, and I look forward to future projects by readers. We’ve got the Pi Zero W if you are looking to hack your bag. It’s slim and it has WiFi, making it a fun board for IoT. Thanks to John for sharing his Pi wisdom!
