Deku Link Comes to Life in This Costume

Just when you think you’ve seen all the Link costumes there are, someone surprises you. In this case, it’s Redditor ehsteve12 who is responsible for a new-to-me Legend of Zelda cosplay. They’ve replicated Deku Link from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. They used printed or painted fabric to capture the the texture of Link’s Deku Mask skin on their torso, arms, and legs, and more impressively, they got the scale of the massive mask just right — it’s designed so the wearer can see through the snout.

Ehsteve12 explained they spent a lot of time on the eyes to capture Link’s emotion from the game:

Thanks! I actually spent a lot of time on the eyes. First practicing the shading for the paint, then using paper to come up with the perfect shape. “The eyes are the windows to the soul” was something I really wanted to capture, and lingering sadness was key for the build.
