PiGRRL Zero Review by Andrew Stott @DisruptItYrslf

Andrew Stott, Disrupt It Yourself, recently shared his build of the PiGRRL Zero project.

I’ve been following Andrew’s progress on Instagram and enjoying his build progress. He’s doing some interesting multi-color techniques that take advantage of 0-bottom layer via slice settings to embed infill patterns into the case. This gives the enclosure a sweet looking triangular texture. Then, by pausing the print job and swapping out the filament for a different color, you can achieve a multi-colored case. He’s also made his own modifications like stripping the USB adapter and embedding it into the case, affectively replacing the USB port for a headphone jack. This is exactly what I like seeing from the maker community!

This is my build video and review of the PiGRRL Zero project from Adafruit. I highly recommend this project to everyone! Especially if you love retro games like me!
