Destiny’s Aksis Makes One Heck of a Costume

When Jenny, a.k.a. Spartan Jenzii, decided to cosplay Aksis from Destiny, she didn’t redesign the character’s massive, spider-like costume to make it more straightforward. She committed to translating the video game character’s look to reality, including building six legs. When she started, she made test legs to ensure they could clear the ground and move safely. She covered the leg frames with foam and build up the LED lighting and armor from there. She spent five months working on the costume and estimates she put over 400 hours into the build.
