Somehow Josh Mook’s story reads like a quintessentially American one: as a 15-year-old kid he couldn’t drive but was learning to fly (someone had to drive him to his weekend lessons). After college he progressed through the ranks at various GE divisions, being awarded a GE Aviation young engineer award and eventually being offered an opportunity to work on a team pioneering additive manufacturing techniques to fabricate fuel nozzles for jet engine designs.
