This SpongeBob SquarePants Squidward Costume Is Ready to Meet Everybody in Town
Redditor netrunui’s dream cosplay is a deep cut from SpongeBob SquarePants. He’s dressed as Squidward Tentacles, a main character in the series, but Squidward’s in a salmon suit. As far as I can tell, the ensemble is a reference to a couple of lines from a single episode where SpongeBob says he wants to introduce Squidward to everybody in town wearing a salmon suit. It’s definitely a new to me costume.
Netrunui didn’t have a pattern for his salmon Squidward outfit. He put it together on his own and invested about 50 hours into the project. He used a “short lush material” for the outside of the face and “a firm fabric inner chamber and cotton in between to make the actual shape.”
