[News] FaceID On The iPhone X Is Tricked Again !

[News]
Apple is joking with people about the security of FaceID on the iPhone X? FaceID on the iPhone X is tricked again!

FaceID on the iPhone X has been cheated again, and this time it is not Bkav Corporation, but a sleeping person!
Apple claims FaceID on the iPhone X can not be unlocked when the user is sleeping. However, through the eyes of paper and some things on the surface of pizza, we can easily trick iPhone X

Fake eye made of olive and fungus can also trick FaceID

FaceTec, a well-known biometric security company with the Face Detection application, has just fooled the iPhone X by placing eye-popping eyes on a sleeping user's face. Surprisingly, FaceID on the iPhone X has been overtaken and unlocked easily.
FaceTec also conducted experiments with some of the stuff taken from the surface of the pizza they just bought. Specifically, they put a black olive on a piece of mushroom toss (to replace the false eye made of paper) and unlocked the iPhone X successfully. Even when using two caps, FaceTec can unlock the iPhone X after many times! (Apple, Are you kidding?)

Placing two bottle caps on the eye can also unlock the iPhone X of a sleeping person

FaceTec says that even if the "Require Attention for FaceID" option is enabled, iPhone X is still tricked. This is an advanced security option designed by Apple to prevent the iPhone X unlocked when users do not look directly at the machine.

At the end of the video, FaceTec conducted similar experiments with their Zoom application. Unlike FaceID and other face recognition systems, the Zoom application maps the user's face from two different distances. This means that by unlocking via zoom, the user must keep the smartphone in front of him and then move the camera closer to the face.
No need for a complex TrueDepth camera clone like the iPhone X, the Zoom application uses a front camera to scan user faces and store them in application memory. FaceTec claims that its application can operate on "5 billion smartphones globally", meaning that every smartphone has a front-facing camera.
The FaceTec Zoom application is not as easy to trick as the iPhone X

FaceTec says very little about how their apps work, but surpassing FaceID is a big step forward for this Las Vegas-based startup.

"Zoom is the only biometric security application that can not be tricked by photos or videos and is much safer than previous biometric security methods such as fingerprint scanners, 2D face recognition and machines."        - FaceTec said -

Apple has stated that FaceID on the iPhone X can not be fooled. Maybe Apple is joking?
