John Park’s Workshop: CNC Machine Kit Build @adafruit @johnedgarpark #adafruit
I put together a 2’x3′ CNC machine from CNC Routerparts — here’s a timelapse of it. It was about a two day build, (and lots of fun, I love assembling a well designed and nicely documented kit!) condensed here to about ten minutes. Next, I’ll be building a dust collection system for it.
I’m using it to make medium scale pieces from wood, MDF, plastic, and aluminum. The first thing I cut with it was the “PCB” and letter/logo engraving for this gigantic Adafruit Metro XXL.
