Low Cost IoT Door Opener for Disabled User

Bill Binko from ATMakers.org with some assistance from some FIRST Robotics teams have developed another great piece of assistive technology for a young girl with cerebral palsy. It is an IoT door opener that she activates with her eye tracking PRC tablet.

Uses and Adafruit M0 Wi-Fi feather, a small motor and some additional hardware. Total cost about $70 worth of parts and volunteer labor.

The video also shows how she uses the eye tracking tablet to speak commands to Alexa to operate her fire TV.
