Making a Custom Soldering Workstation

When Bill Doran from Punished Props started using more electronics in his costume and prop projects, he found himself soldering more. To make it easier to keep his supplies together, he built himself a soldering workstation equipped with a drawer to hold tubing, tools, and flux. He also added lighting features and fans to pull fumes away from his face. Doran designed it to be portable too, so he can easily pick up the workstation and move the entire piece around his shop. He goes over the pieces and how he assembled them in the above video; it’s very helpful for those of you trying to get extra organized as 2018 begins.
