Going Titan for a First Cosplay

It’s always delightful to hear about someone’s first cosplay experience when it’s a positive one. Having a good time creating and wearing your initial costume can lead to more making, more learning tips and techniques, and more creativity. Redditor goobz_91 has joined the cosplay club with her first ever costume, a female Titan from Attack on Titan.

She explains she didn’t make the bodysuit because of a lack of experience, and that’s fine. Cosplay however you want, especially when you’re first getting started. She enjoyed wearing the costume and said:

as much as I want to get good, I figure learning one new thing each time would be a good way to focus without getting overwhelmed

I think that’s a wonderful approach. As one Redditor commented on the costume, maybe use each cosplay as chance to learn one new technique. You can stack them up, and before you know it, you’ll know several methods for sewing, painting, weathering, and more.
