Pi Day Activities for Kids
Today is March 14th – Pi day! Or more accurately, 3/14 as in 3.14159265359…. To celebrate, we’ve compiled some of the best activities and projects for kids to help you celebrate this wonderful mathematical day! (Psst, it’s also Albert Einstein’s birthday too!)
Pi which in Greek is written with the symbol π, is the ratio of the circumference of any circle to the diameter of the circle. It doesn’t matter the circle’s size is, the ratio will always equal pi. Pi is an irrational number meaning that it never ends.
