This Is the Meetup for Women Who Love Wearable Tech #WearableWednesday #wearabletech @Women_Wearables

Women of Wearables grid of faces

Women of Wearables (WoW) is a global community that is inspiring, connecting and supporting women in wearable tech, fashion tech, IoT, augmented reality and virtual reality. They have been posting interviews, holding educational events and gaining enough momentum to prove that there is no excuse for not having women speakers at tech conferences. Let’s just say they are close to 8,000 members in 25 countries. So far most of their gatherings have been in the UK, but they recently started meetup groups in New York City and California’s Bay Area. This is your chance to learn more about creating a successful wearables business and to meet more friendly faces in the biz. I’ve been lucky enough to be interviewed by WoW’s Michelle Hua, and I can tell you that this group is welcoming and understands the value of bringing educators, business owners, designers and technologists together. So, re-discover the joy of face-to-face connection and help your career at the same time–it’s WoW time!
