A Gundam MK-II Suit Built in 2 Months

The RX-178 Gundam Mk-II appears in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and redditor TheConfectionerd brought it to life in a two month build. They say it’s not quite finished, but it’s most of the way there with only some minor tweaking. They explained the hardest part of the EVA mat built was making the stilts. These were built from scratch and required trial and error. They explained some of the construction details on Reddit:

For those who are wondering: The majority of this was done with EVA floor tiles, and it stands right around 8 feet tall with a pair of homemade articulating stilts (I’m 5’6″ without the stilts). All done completely by me. There are LED lights, but couldn’t see them with the sunny day, and there is a shield that I couldn’t equip due to the wind gusts.

As for that sword:

Its actually a fluorescent light bulb protector from the hardware store. Not the most durable material, but I figured I wouldn’t be getting into any saber duels.
