A Handmade Zelda Costume with Gorgeous Details

Redditor hannaheva committed to her Breath of the Wild Princess Zelda costume. She made or assembled every aspect of the costume and spent two months working on it nonstop (except presumably for sleep). To get the fabric just the right hue of blue, she dyed it. Since it was 10 yards of fabric, she used a 50 gallon drum on top of her stove. And then to get all those detailed patterns on the bottom of the dress, hannaheva found lace fabric on eBay and cut it into pieces and sewed them onto the dress — it’s not as painstaking as embroidery, but it’s still an immense amount of work.
