Have you tried using an augmented reality app yet? If not, you might be missing out. Since the days of Pokemon Go, there has been a major boom of ARkit apps that are truly amazing.

ARkit (Apple ARKit) is Apple’s augmented reality (AR) development platform for iOS mobile devices.

Here are some ARKit demos that you should look at:

Super Mario ARKit demo by Stuart Langfield

Created by developer Stuart Langfield, Super Mario AR is the perfect hybrid of mixing the old with the new. Here he creates a replica of the Super Mario world using Unity3D and Arkit. Great stuff!

My Very Hungry Caterpillar AR by Touch Press

Remember The Very Hungry Caterpillar? It’s been almost 50 years since Eric Carle introduced his much-loved character The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the world. Now with ARKit, the Very Hungry Caterpillar comes to life wherever you are. With Augmented Reality you can see the caterpillar and you can still see the world around you. Watch him appear in your living room, on your kitchen table, in your garden, or anywhere you want to play with him.
