DIP-ifying a SOIC

I’m browsing back through Sketching in Hardware‘s presentations archive from 2017, and stumbled upon this gem by Zach Fredin (of NeuroTinker acclaim), carving FR-4 to make a homemade breadboard-compatible DIP of a surface-mount IC. There’s no audio of the presentation I can find – but I’m sure given the text on some of the slides there were many lols in the crowd. Kudos for using our PCB ruler too 😉

See the presentation slides here.
