How to Shape Fake Fur for a Daenerys Targaryen Cosplay

Daenerys Targaryen wore an epic white coat (pictured below) in the most recent season of Game of Thrones, and cosplayers have been figuring how the best way to replicate it using faux fur. One of the more complicated parts of the costume is the different shapes of the fur, so cosplayer AmenoKitarou, a.k.a. A.K. Wirru, shared their tutorial on how to shear the shapes into the material. They used tape to mark the patterns (you could make them out of craft foam or foam core board if you wanted) and used a clipper to follow the lines of the patterns. They applied the same method to straight lines as they did to the zigzag ones, which you can see in the rest of the tutorial here.
