The Rise of Cosplay at Conventions

If you’ve been attending fan conventions for a while, you’ve likely seen a change in the last five to seven years. Comic conventions seem a little less focused on comics and open to a broader pop culture palate, and more and more cosplayers are filling the ranks of attendees — more families, too. YouTuber Chris “Tiffer” Berry decided to make a short documentary about how things have progressed. He conducted interviews with convention-goers, cosplayers, and more over the past two years to track the rise in popularity for cons. Watch it above.
