Details
USN-3616-1 fixed a vulnerability in Python Crypto. This update provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 12.04 ESM.
Original advisory details:
It was discovered that Python Crypto incorrectly generated ElGamal key parameters. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to obtain sensitive information.
Update instructions
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions:
- Ubuntu 12.04 ESM
- python-crypto - 2.4.1-1ubuntu0.3
- python3-crypto - 2.4.1-1ubuntu0.3
