Sunday Synth Jam: The Vangelis score for Blade Runner is one of the most common for synthesists to cover.
While most covers tend to focus on recreating the synth orchestration of the Main Titles or the driving sequences of the End Titles, synthesist Ramiro Gómez Massetti goes in a different direction, with a virtual instrument take on the jazz-tinged Love Theme.
Massetti arranges the Theme as duet for piano and saxophone, performing both parts with virtual instruments. For the saxophone, he uses a TEControl BBC2 breath controller, paired with Samplemodeling Mr. Sax T.
