Doctor thanks @Adafruit for Support in Building #IoT Devices
Adafruit gets many great letters / e-mails every week – this one from Nathan caught our eye:
Hi Adafruit, I wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve done to build and support a vibrant community. While I’m a biomedical engineer and subsequent doctor, I wouldn’t have been able to get into embedded electronics without your help. A colleague and I just published a paper in the medical literature to try and support physicians looking to build custom devices. Thought you might like to see: https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007%2Fs10278-018-0081-z.pdf Cheers, Nathan
The project uses a Raspberry Pi, buttons, LEDs and an Adafruit 128×64 monochrome display.
Nathan’s article is in the Journal of Digital Imaging coauthored with Po-Hao Chen titled IoT in Radiology: Using Raspberry Pi to Automatically Log Telephone Calls in the Reading Room.
Thanks Nathan for the kind words! We here at Adafruit wish to enable folks in all aspects of life to find the information they need to build a better world.
