Raspberry Pi Case – Mac Pro inspired design #3DPrinting #3DThursday
EgonHeuson shared this project on Thingiverse!
Hello buddies,
Here you’ll find the case I designed for my Raspberry Pi 3. I use it as a media center (Kodi), and wanted some esthetic case with a good cooling system. I like the Mac Pro design and thought it would be nice to have such case for the Raspberry Pi. Here is my version.
There is a 5V Noctua fan NF A4X10 on the bottom of the case for silent and efficient cooling. It is screewed on the fixing plate using 4x20mm screws and correponding bolts.
The uploaded part are from the version 4.0. The pictures I took are older (version 3.0). There are slight improvements on this last version, like a better cable fixation system, or a system to lock the Raspberry Pi support in place when moving the case.
Fill free to send me a message if you want some more details or the STEP files for modifications.
Have a great print!
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
