David Rothenberg’s Landing Lights Park Shows Air Travel from an Alternative Perspective #celebratephotography
Love this magical-realist take on East Elmherst by David Rothenberg. via BOOOOOOOM:
Landing Lights Park (2018) puts into focus the neighborhood of East Elmhurst, Queens and adjacent sites under the whining roar and shadows of inbound jetliners landing at LaGuardia Airport’s runway 4.
In Fall 2018, ROMAN NVMERALS will publish the book Landing Lights Park. The project is supported by a 2018 Queens Art Fund New Works Grant (funded by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Greater New York Arts Development Fund).
