Epic Phototour of Maker Faire Hong Kong 2018 | #makerfaire
Big thanks to Susumu Takahashi for taking so many and so many great photos of their Maker Faire Hong Kong 2018 experience – below are just some of my favorite shots from their trip (TIP: it’s great when makers include their project name or social account somewhere near their table, so someone remotely online like me can find more information on their project!):
Since our company event ended successfully, I went to Maker Faire Hong Kong. Actually, I went there last year, so Hong Kong will be the second time in a row for the second consecutive year. Since Hong Kong Polytechnic University is the same place as last time there is a sense of security.
Hong Kong has a lot of STEM related exhibits. The best place in Hong Kong is where you can listen to exhibitors in English (with posters too). No, Shenzhen is about 100 times faster than the streets though Maker Faire’s venue can use English.
As last year, the venue is divided according to Zone, so I will post it with a multitude of photographic components.
this electroplating machine looks amazing:
various projects including homemade boats, construction clothing, marble runs, Makeblock bot, 3D-printed toys, micro:bit projects, and lots more:
an “E.Mail 2.0” project:
Hong Kong clearly has the maker spirit!
