Hello World with @Adafruit #Crickit

Dan Mitchell posts a project on his blog showing the Hello World of robotics in style. (Dan, I’m making my own in parallel, ed.)

He writes:

When beginning a new programming language, the first thing that you learn is how to write a simple code/program called hello world, and display it on a computer screen or print out.
With Adafruit‘s Crickit robotics platform, we have a new challenge, how to do a simple program, that gives a hello world but with robotics The challenge was given on Adafruit’s weekly youtube video program Ask and Engineer. So having recently obtained a Crickit board to work, I just felt compelled to make this program… I posted it on Youtube (above)
.
It’s really great that the community can easily get this type of project going quickly and easily. Ladyada was just saying on Ask an Engineer that the MIT robotics class was so complex. She’s taken that lesson and made robotics easy and affordable today. See our new guide Make It Move with Crickit to get going fast.
