The YellowPhant: A Raspberry Pi Project to Make with Kids! @Raspberry_Pi #PiDay #RaspberryPi

via Pimoroni

For some, the summer holidays have already started, and others have a few days to go. In the spirit of keeping the small humans occupied, we’re putting together some ideas for activities you can do with them.

We’ll update this blog post as we add activities. You can view them online, or download the pdf which is printable on A4 paper.

Make a little elephant out of your recycling, and light it up using whichever of our lovely lights you have to hand. This one is pink, but he also goes yellow every 20 minutes.

Combine a related project for an interactive elephant or a night light to glow you gently to sleep.

You could light it using one of our colour change LEDs and a button cell, or a Blinkt on a Raspberry Pi Zero, or a unicorn phat for even more glowability!
