Apple’s ARKit 2 will now support multiplayer #Apple #ARKit

Apple announced the next generation of ARKit earlier this year. ARKit 2 introduces us  to a new multiplayer mode for AR games and another mode that allows for virtual objects to be placed in an area and remain in place.

The first ARKit instantly turned hundreds of millions of iPhones and iPads into AR-compatible machines and users could suddenly add digital objects onto the real world – with the right applications, of course.

Now with ARKit 2, Apple is going even further. Here’s an outline of a few big changes ARKit brings:

•Realistic Rendering

•Improved Face Tracking

•3D Object Detection

•Persistence experiences

If you are an iOS developer, Apple has provided sample you a sample code of the ARKit multiplayer SwiftShot. Read more here
