Limor Fried – Draw an Engineer Competition #MakerEducation
Thank you so much to Fauziya I Ali Ansari for writing in and sharing the awesome news that her daughter Aurelia wore first prize in the INWED Draw an Engineer Competition 2018! Her winning submission depicted Adafruit’s very own Limor Fried. Congrats Aurelia!

The INWED Draw an Engineer competition 2018 received over 120 entries from across the globe!
Aimed at children 5 -11 (in the UK in key stages 1 and 2), it proved to be a great way to get school children involved in International Women in Engineering Day 2018.
Our 2018 judging panel consisted of 3 members of WES’ Young Members’ Board. They all reported an extremely high level of entries in both age groups and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all drawings of engineers from all entrants
