DIY/Do It Yourself: How to Upgrade CCleaner Portable
- Download the latest package from CCleaner - Download Builds page.
- Get 7-Zip or the portable version and enable its context menu.
- Right-click on the package you've just downloaded, eg. ccsetup538.exe → select 7-Zip from the context menu → select Open archive,
- Select only files/folder as shown in the picture below,
- Click Extract from the 7-Zip toolbar → then browse to your current CCleaner portable folder → click Ok, and overwrite existing files/folder, and you're done :)
