Corruption costs $2.6 trillion or 5 per cent of global GDP, says UN chief Antonio Guterres

The cost of corruption is at least USD 2.6 trillion, or five per cent of the global GDP, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said and urged the international community to work effectively against money laundering, tax evasion and illicit financial flows.
