GSCRIPT Presentation at DEF CON 26!

Welcome back! This year I had the opportunity to speak at Defcon on one of the main stages presenting the development work I did with Alex on the GSCRIPT tool! You've probably seen me post about GSCRIPT on this blog before, but even if you haven't, I highly encourage you to watch the Defcon presentation. The presentation covers a lot of stuff I haven't talked about on this blog before, like the inspiration and time-line behind writing the tool, a deep dive on the tool's internals, as well as new examples showing the dynamic linking between native Golang and the JavaScript sandboxes. These new additions we cover in the presentation make the tool fa more powerful than previous versions You can find the slide deck here, although I've removed some of the video examples so you will have to watch the video below. You should refer to this material and the GSCRIPT workshop over the old material as there have been substantial breaking changes, so old tutorials and code may not work anymore. While the official video hasn't been released yet, I found these really awesome videos a member of the audience took, so I'm posting that until the official Defcon talks are released. I hope you enjoy and feel free to ask about the tool or presentation in the comments below!
