US, India sign defense agreement amid divisive issues

On 6 September, the United States and India signed a major military communications agreement during a visit by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis to New Delhi, amid a series of divisive issues, the Daily Times (India) reports. Thursday’s meeting was supposed to be held in Washington but was postponed twice by the Trump administration.
