The US midterms will be here soon. Snapchat has decided to use it’s platform to encourage users to register to vote. With 100 million active North American users, Snapchat thinks it has a shot at helping to fix the historically low levels of political participation among young voters.
Everyone over the age of 18 in the US, who’ll receive a voter registration link from the app. Clicking it will launch a Snapchat-branded TurboVote mobile site where users can register.
When users register, you’ll recieve an “I Voted” story sticker which will become available on Election Day.
