Install Audacity 2.3.0 on Ubuntu / Linux Mint (PPA)

Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/audacity to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/audacity
sudo apt-get update
       
Install audacity :
sudo apt-get install audacity


After installation is finished, check on ubuntu dashboard :
