Maker Spotlight: Kathy Ceceri – Paper and Fabric Inventions, Making Simple Robots & more @KathyCeceri
At Maker Faire, I finally got to meet Maker and author Kathy Ceceri. She does educational programs for upper elementary to high school-level kids. And she’s now using the Adafruit Circuit Playground Express in her projects: all the capabilities & built-in sensors at a low price, no wiring or soldering allows for kids to make their own robots in a 90 minute class.
Kathy has also authored many books, some of which are below:
- Making Simple Robots: Exploring Cutting-Edge Robotics with Everyday Stuff
- Robotics: DISCOVER THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE with 20 PROJECTS (Build It Yourself)
- Fabric and Fiber Inventions: Sew, Knit, Print, and Electrify Your Own Designs to Wear, Use, and Play With
- Make: Paper Inventions: Machines that Move, Drawings that Light Up, and Wearables and Structures You Can Cut, Fold, and Roll
